Live Stars ICO Overview 💖 Adult Streaming For Crypto!
The adult entertainment industry is famously embracing of new technology, and in recent years there has been an explosive shift from regular video content to interactive webcam streaming.
Today I want to give a brief overview of a project that seeks to take this paradigm to its natural technological conclusion - blockchain tech. Currently, there are a number of adult orientated webcam streaming services, Chaturbate being perhaps the best known, to the author at least. Many of these sites already accept Bitcoin as a form of payment, and could conceivably evolve to accept faster, more discreet, and more modern cryptos, such as Monero or Verge. So yes, there could be stiff competition. Pun intended. But there will be a lot on offer to lure new contributors, such as lower commissions, and an instant, simplified payment process. There will also be a lot to bring in an audience who will be attracted to the prospect of a more instantaneous and anonymous service with payments taking seconds, and messages being encrypted.

Currently there is a 50% discount, for the next 36 hours or so, at the time of writing. Right now, each "Live Token" works out around $0.06.
Live Stars have a full time team, strong branding, and a demonstrably working product. They are active on social media, and have a highly visible marketing campaign.
With the webcam streaming market estimated to grow to about 15 billion dollars in the next couple of years, this is a very ambitious, and potentially lucrative project indeed. As you can see from the online demo below, this isn't "pie in the sky" vaporware, but a working product that has been developed and is being refined behind the scenes.
Am I Investing?
I've always thought cryptocurrency and the adult entertainment world should go hand in hand, and that relationship seems to be taking shape more and more. Certainly, it's not hard to imagine a platform like this finding huge success, but my concern is how easy it would be for the established platforms to integrate better cryptocurrencies than Bitcoin. Also, it is probably only a matter of time before something like Live Stars comes to the STEEM platform, or perhaps EOS later this year. I would be more bullish on such projects as STEEM is ostensibly fast, and well established. So Live Stars seems to be be high risk but with high reward potential. Am I investing? I wouldn't forgive myself if I didn't at least pick up a handful.

I've been advocating for something like this since DLive was announced. Infact there's no reason why @Dlive can't be used by camgirls and the adult industry. If @dlive creates a subsection for adult models with a +18 disclaimer that could already get the ball rolling.
Steem should try capture this market and it is the perfect fit for it .
Or maybe we can convince the LiveStars team to switch to SMT, as Ethereum is too slow and expensive for this sort of microtransactions.

While many ideas can work in the long-term, they will have very hard time short-term and most of them will die, not because the ideas are not good but we are still far away from mass adoption and we need to remember that social network and many more ideas only worked on the internet when we reached the mass adoption phase and we had 500 million to 1billion users having access to the world wide web.
I think it'll be a crowded space. Maybe as an early mover they'll have success? Who knows. Now where's my crystal ball....?

Do you make money for chatting or you must remove the clothes?
It's adult orientated, so I presume there will be plenty of nakedness involved, but hey.
There is a 'place' for never nude or topless models on sites like these. They tend to wear lingerie and flirt and play games or entertain customers.

The majority go on those sites to see naked women, and you do need a tough skin because you will get trolled. A never nude or topless woman won't make as much as the nude girls, but like I said, I've seen some (who have good social skills) make a living never getting nude.
