My Steemit strategy to build more Steem Power

I think any person on Steemit should have one of their goals to build their Steem Power. Having more Steem Power gives you more authority and you will earn more from your content on Steemit.

I am looking to build my Steem Power and I am currently focussing on these strategies to do that.

1. Buy regular Steem Power by converting my fiat money to Steem.
   This is like a savings plan for me. We all know it is important to save 10% of your earnings every month or as much as you can. I believe the return on investment is higher than 30% per year. The Steem price will continue to rise above the rate of inflation as more members join Steemit and the rewards will increase as my Steem Power increases.

2. Stay member of upvote guild
   I have joined a guild of Steemit members on Streemian. We vote for each other on every post. It is very well run and hands free. You don’t have to manually go and vote for all members. As these member’s Steem Power grows so will the rewards.
   I have detail write up below how to join the Guild. Highly recommended.

3. Write a post every day
   I do this because I earn money from every post after joining the Guild above. It also gives me content to buy upvotes and earn more. See next point.

4. Buy Upvotes from @booster and @randowhale (stopped for now)
   The return on investment is about 100% when buying upvotes. Because you get the payouts every 7 days from Steemit, you only need money for 7 days (that is if you write a post every day). You will get most of your money back to recycle in your upvote buying routine. You can also scale this with @booster, but not with @randowhale where the max payment is $2.
   Hold on with @randowhale for now. Randowhale rewards are now lower than the cost of the upvote. He said he is going to make improvements, so I will wait for that before I buy again.

Some people don’t like the idea of buying Upvotes. They think it is gaming the system. I don’t think so. It is simply moving Steem around in the Steemit ecosystem. It is just economics in the Steem World.

PROS:

PLEASE do NOT use your upvotes by yourself - leave them only for our guild BECAUSE the new steem HF19 update makes our upvotes x4 stronger but it also uses up x4 the voting power.

So if you are in the guild AND upvote other stuff by yourself you will drain all you voting power and be useless.

That is why we need to only upvote each-other in the guild and NOT upvote anything else. Your upvote is precious! Leave it for the guild because ultimately you all will benefit.
