RE: Escaping the grind to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico - A haven for expats

Lol.. your back! @beunconstrained

You were one of my first friends on Steemit and I'm happy to see you back. If you remember, I had a goal of acquring 3,000 Steem for my family and I did it 😀🖐️

I might also average down if Steem breaks $0.20 USD and my current average is about $0.36 USD per Steem.

I will check your article and you are always welcome to join a Facebook group chat I am a part of Steem.ph.

It's open to anyone and everyone and most of the non-Filipinos there are either living abroad or are interested in living abroad.

Hi @chrisrice congratulations on hitting your goal. Well done! Yes, I'm still around but I'll be posting on my own blog site at https://www.beunconstrained.com as my first priority. I will still, however, be announcing articles on Steemit as I do believe in the platform - just not as my primary means of communication. I would encourage you to sign up on my website for article announcements there as that is where most of the action is. I'm also about to start my podcast on this, and you can find out when that is out on my website as well. Hope you are good. Take care.

Thanks, @beunconstrained.

I went over to your website and read the full article - I also shared it in our FB group chat on Steem.ph (over 80 members).

If you do podcasts, I recommend you post it to @dtube and claim your Dtube username: D.Tube since you only have until the end of this month to do it.

Claiming your Dtube account for the new Dtube will qualify you for the big airdrop that will happen from Dtube and sharing video content to Dtube is as easy as sharing a link from YouTube, Facebook, etc. and it takes less than a minute.

I recommend it! I only listen to audio content from things posted on the Steem blockchain minus rare exceptions but I will likely read most of your articles that you announce on your Steem account.

Thank you for the tip. I have claimed the dTube account now, and believe all should be in place. I'm contemplating whether to release my podcast content (mainly audio) on dSound, regular RSS and maybe through dTube and YouTube, but I really would prefer to keep video content for video services and audio on the audio services. What do you think has the greatest appeal?

I would click on a @dtube link before a @dsound link but I agree. I tend to think you should post podcasts on @dsound and video files on @dtube.

Having said that.. the new Dtube is awesome. If you didn't know, they have their own Blockchain now with innovations that Steem doesn't have.. But, they are a sidechain of Steem now and anyone can create their own Dtube clone with their own native token via SteemEngine.com's Scot.Tube.

Real businesses are making USD on Steem and based on what I read @aggroed has made about $800,000 USD in the last 18 months through his @steemmonters project, Splinter lands and Steem-Engine.com.

There are other people making good money via Steem-based businesses but he is the leader by far. Members of our Steem.ph are getting started with Steem-based businesses too, particularly related to Steem Games since we have software developers and investors who can convert open sourced games using in-games points to Steem-based games using Steem-Engine tokens.

Everyone is free to join and we have a good amount of expats in our group (like me).
