I barely talk about bitcoin to my friends anymore I just keep the advancements and things going on to myself. Its funny because on the off occasion I will mention something and my friends say the same thing.
Once the price tanked from the highs I think people wrote it off. But now many investing sites quote the Bitcoin price in their list of currencies. Will be interesting to see if public perception changes in the future.
