Your rules for Crypto Currency 'miner' Picks (?) Comments please!
looking for your tips and pointers in the comments. I will upvote and follow all those with interesting tips. I myself am new to this, so I'm going to write in order to be corrected ... and see where others send me to get up to speed.
now we finally see BTC dominance being reduced, and it seems there will potentially be a near-term future with either a few dominant currencies, or a flood of thousand that is chaos! For now, there appears to no doubt that the gold rush is on. Surely then, we'd be crazy to not put in some effort..and try for the lucky stars???
new emerging cryptocurrency exchanges are possibly the most exciting and if not biggest ever, true gold rush of our time. there is no doubting it is real and happening now - some people's wallets here on Steem are testimony to the fact!
penny stocks - penny crypto <2>is there a term for it yet, or do we need to make one?
for those of you who perhaps hadn't thought about investing before, and just got curious - what is a penny stock? In traditional stock markets, a penny stock is one trading at a value below $1. It could be as low as 1c per share or less. What is so special about these stocks, is just a small gain in value - caused by the company winning a big new contract, getting new investment and so on - Can represent a HUGE PROFIT in terms of increased share prices. For example, if you had 1000 shares at $0.01, this would have cost you $10 (approx). They suddenly become $1 per share - you would have $100,000 !!! you now would have made something like a 10000% profit! (Please correct my maths, it's never been great. Hopefully you follow the logic. My greatest weakness in 5 words - BAD AT MATHS).
So, who's with me on getting our hands a little dirty and doing some groundwork - it shouldn't need mathematical genuis, after all. I want to see, is it possible to pick from the 900 or so out there, can we stash away a few obscure coins, and get lucky reaping dramatic gains later?
if you were to pick a virtual 'penny stock' right now - that is to say, study some potential up and coming new currency, and buy some 'play amount' - what are the main criteria besides the following? Here, from my very limited knowledge are what I can think of right now:
- How much is it pre-mined (and what are the limits)
- How easy is it to mine
- How smart are the team behind it, who are they
- How big is the potential growth spike, and what might make it happen
- How original or unique, and universally useful 'features' does the particular flavor of coin possess
Let's see how can we 'flip' some Crypto ... !!
Finally, I want to evolve this post into other, a series - and start picking some penny crypto for us to track our predictions. Look forward to your thoughts and knowledge!
