KONTAN.CO.ID - OMAHA, AS. Warren Buffett, founder and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. reported a loss on investment firm he led in the first quarter 2018 financial report on Saturday (5/5).
This loss is the effect of changes in accounting rules against unrealized loss of investment and decreased insurance premium income.
The net loss attributed to Berkshire shareholders for the quarter was $ 1.14 billion. This figure is clearly njomplang compared with a profit of US $ 4.06 billion which dbubuhkan Buffet in the first quarter of last year (2017).
