Tired of Outdated Job Leads? Here are the 19 Most Active Crypto and Blockchain Job Sites

The browser wars were just heating up, Netscape was reigning supreme, and you could still rank websites by stuffing the meta keywords tag with a mess of completely unrelated keywords.
It was a chaotic time for the internet, but also exhilarating. We all knew that we were witnessing something that was going to change the world.
In 2013 I discovered cryptocurrency and blockchain and it made me feel the same way. I knew I wanted to be a part of it - to make a career out of it - but I didn't know how.
There were no "How to Land a Job in Cryptocurrency and Blockchain" articles floating around, no crypto job banks, or anything like that. It took me five years before I landed my first full time job in the space.
Luckily, there are a lot more resources now - and a lot more jobs available. So, to help you in your job hunt, here is my go-to list for crypto and blockchain job searches:
Indeed.com
Indeed.com is a massive career website that not only lists jobs in every conceivable industry, but also company reviews career advice, and salary information. On a slow month, more than 340 million people worldwide visit Indeed.com.
In the past two weeks, more than 400 new blockchain-related jobs have been posted - and more than 90 cryptocurrency-related jobs - in the United States alone.
CraigsList
CraigsList may have lost some of its shine in recent years, but the site still receives nearly 3 million visitors each month. The two categories where you are most likely to find crypto and blockchain jobs is either in the Jobs section of each city (no surprise there) or the Gigs section.
Because you have to drill down by country to state and then to city, searching CraigsList can be a bit of a pain in the butt (sorry, CL, but it's true). Here's a tip: you can use SearchTempest to search ALL of CraigsList in one fell swoop, saving yourself a lot of time and frustration.
AngelList (Angel.co)
AngelList is part social network, part job site. They are more popular than CraigsList (3.8 million visitors per month), less popular than Indeed, and tend to focus on job opportunities with startup companies.
The one drawback to this site is that I've seen a number of startups post "intern" positions where they expect to find expert level skills for no pay. But that isn't a reflection on the platform itself and, thankfully, hasn't really been a problem with the crypto and blockchain jobs I've seen there.
LinkedIn is the granddaddy of business social networks. With nearly 850 million users per month, LinkedIn offers networking opportunities, discussion groups, online learning, and a robust jobs platform.
In the past month, more than 9000 blockchain jobs have been posted worldwide and more than 3,600 crypto jobs.
Who knew that the "front page of the Internet" was also a good resource for finding a job?
More than 1.3 billion people visit Reddit every month and there are several jobs-related subreddits on the platform, some more active than others. Of particular interest to crypto and blockchain job seekers are:
FlexJobs
FlexJobs is a job portal that focuses on remote and "flex" work opportunities. It isn't as popular as, say, LinkedIn or Indeed, but it still brings in a respectable 2 million visitors per month, give or take.
Currently, there are over 200 blockchain and 127 crypto-related jobs listed on FlexJobs.
Upwork
Upwork is a popular freelance jobs platform where businesses can post a project and freelancers around the world can submit bids.
Signing up is free but you'll have to purchase credits, called "Connects" in order to bid on projects. You can buy them as you need them for $0.15 each or upgrade your account to Freelancer Plus, which includes 70 Connects each month.
Upwork currently has a little over 200 blockchain and crypto-related projects open for bidding. The downside to this bid model is that you're often competing with other providers who live in countries where they can afford to charge much less than you can.
Crypto and Blockchain-specific Job Sites
While they may not have the traffic of larger job portals, the benefit to these niche-specific job sites is that you don't have to waste your time wading through job listings that have nothing to do with your career interests.
