It's a mistake to think that there's a set amount of wealth, and all economic activity only moves it around, and that the gain of one person is the loss of another.
Verily, new wealth is always being produced. In mines, for example, metal is dug up that wasn't in use before.
In free societies, the rich are rich because they create wealth, not because they steal from us.
A sad truth: most people are foolish. They go on shopping sprees, rather than investing their money. If they did that, they—and the world—would be much richer.
Here is what I think must be done: become wise, save, invest wisely.
