Is it true that the money which comes through hard work last long and the money which comes easily and instantly does not last long ? Is it just a myth or truth ?

I believe the money earned through hard work will last long. Why? Personally, I think carefully on when and how will I spend the money that I work hard for. I'll make sure the money will go through something important or something that could benefit me and my family. Unlike to a money I easily earned I just simply spend it without thinking twice. Because on my mind I don't work hard for it anyway. I think it's also same through other people.
