I presume that what you really meant is that Tariffs are paid by the importer, so it is the importer who has to raise his prices...which then makes American products more competetive. For instance, why must you buy American cars made in Mexico, when you can buy those made in the USA and thus support your own economy?

The Mecicans andChinese do not mind paying hug (really HUGE) tariffs for American products. They Don't (?) because this makes American products too expensive, so they buy their own(?), well I never saw any Amrican do-gooders protest about it, not even Mexicans or Chinese, so why make such an issue of the US trying t level the playing fields? Or don't American workers and American manufacturers have a right to be supported by Americans?

A final question. You Americans already went through the exercise of losing your manufacturing base, thanks to globalist theories, and the USA ended up much poorer and far deeper in debt. If it happens again, this time it really will be the end of the USA.

The only ones who could possible want that are either traitors or other nationals who hate America. I am not an American, but I would love to see your nation grow strong again.
