RE: Why Cryptocurrencies are revolutionary (from an Oustider’s perspective)
Great post, I think it "pairs" nicely with my recent video: https://steemit.com/steemit/@andrarchy/steemit-s-real-diabolical-plan-for-world-domination. Going to add a link to this post there
Oh, dude! I'm subscribed to you on youtube lol
Haha it all makes a little more sense now. Well you did a great job of expanding on some of the information I'm putting out. Sharing the link with some friends ;)
I really enjoyed your video: Steemit: The Tesla Motors of Social Networks. Good job at describing the overall potential direction of this platform!
What is slack? That's what I'm saying! I put some serious thought into this article lol. What would you suggest changing the title to? That was kind of my grand slam headline hahaha
Great thinking. I'm planning on making a post that goes into more depth about the last half of the article. I want to capture the imaginations of people, and attempt to truly convey the potential behind this technology!
Thanks homey. We should chat on slack. And you should change the title of this article to something more compelling. It should be getting way more money than it is. IMHO. I mean, I actually like the title, but when I see content as good as this struggling, the title is the first thing I usually question.
My go to heuristic: What would Donald Trump name this post? It doesn't matter how good the content is if no one gets past the title. To quote Elon Musk, "People respond to precedents and superlatives." "The First" "The Best" "The Newest." Also one of the key questions I ask myself is, "What am I telling the audience that they don't already know." While I like your post, and I think you have the smarts to make it on here, that is where the post is lacking. Most of the people on this platform are highly informed about cryptocurrencies and so much, if not all of the content in here, is not news to them. I will include the portion I liked at the end of the comment. The problem is that people had to wade through a lot of stuff they already knew to get to it, and they probably never got there. I mean, you did tell people on a site you admitted is pretty much filled with crypto nerds to piss off. I guess I breezed past that because I'm not a crypto nerd... But seriously? Don't tell your customer to leave the store. Respect your customer. Below is the part I found interesting. The good news is you can always create a new post that covers the same material in a more compelling way. If you emphasize this portion, making sure to focus on information you don't think the majority of your readers already have, you should do better.
"Do you think it is annoying that you are constantly fed this stream of shitty music and celebrity gossip, that can actually make you feel like you are devolving from the mere act of observing? Through the current system, we have created a culture that financially rewards stupidity. Stupidity means attention, attention means money. There is currently an incentive to be as idiotic as humanly possible. Can we end this?
This is the reality that is possible through decentralizing the internet, currency, government, and implementing block chain technologies. Through the proper implementation of block chain technologies, we could usher in an entire new era for humanity. One where wealth can be accrued, instantly transferred, and properly stored by anybody. It would provide an incentive to cultivate the more positive aspects of humanity.
With this technology we could create a truly representative democratic society, where everybody’s opinion counts, and all votes are transparent. The possibilities are endless! What an interesting time to be alive. This is some exciting shit! "
