Introduction
I was having trouble finding data comparing STEEM to SBD, so I decided to calculate it myself based on data found at Coinmarketcap.com. Depending on how useful the chart proves to be, I plan to update it periodically.

The interesting thing is, when calculating taxable income on Steemit earnings, the "earnings" USD amount for SBD on the Steemit website pegs SBD to $1 and presents its value as such, but in reality, a liquid exchange is trading SBD at a much higher value.
That's the free market for you. It's also part of the reason that I started this series of articles; I wanted to have a place that I could come back to for the value of Steem/SBD on any given day.

What inferences and conclusions do you make from your comparison? To someone like myself not versed in reading graphs and charts I'd like to know your opinions. What uses can get from this raw data comparison?
Currently, there is an unfavorable exchange rate between SBD and STEEM for holders of SBD. The graph demonstrates that in January, there was a favorable exchange rate. The post demonstrates the volatility of the relationship between the two currencies.
