This an incredible post - like some revolutionary kind of PHD level essay.
Ultimately the problem with the existing banking system is it creates scarcity and puts power into the hands of whoever controls the money supply. At any point they can tighten it, create a recession/bust, then take/repossess the productive assets of an economy at firesale prices.
Like you say we need new socially-backed currencies. They need to support pro-social activity and reward productive life-force-giving economic activity.

P.s. In our current system it's expensive to be broke. As Louis CK says "have you ever been so broke that the bank charges you to be broke".
That's what interest, bank charges and debt does.
