Off for the record, i was once scammed by a local shop who has a fake clearance credit card machine , and they stole my credit card info and used it , from this day and on i'm only using a direct credit cards , i won't give them the option to do this for me anymore.
Well it's not about the kind of card you hold , it's about having open account with these companies , don't you get it ?

From the moment you order a credit card , they save all your information all your transactions , and then sell it to others :(
