I do not like ASICs as they get more complex and expensive that average people like myself can not get. This will centralize mining which does not help the use of the coin. If indeed cryptonite coins get ASIC I think it goes to show how far technology has advanced. I do not think one can stop this from happening. Got to go with Proof of stake to avoid such a thing.
