Talamasca is a project originally started by a Frenchman, Parisian Cedric Dassulle aka DJ Lestat in 1996. In the same year he met two house producers - Steve Eli and Javier De Galloy - which helped him shortly. After 6 tracks they decided to split up and till today Talamasca is a solo project with more than 100 tracks released. Talamasca is known worldwide, he played in almost every country where you can find a psytrance/goa community and he is considered as one of the greatest names on the global psytrance scene.
He also participated in establishing of the psytrance Label 3D Vision together with Christof Drouillet aka Absolum, Farid Merbouche aka DJ Mael in 1998. 6 years later, in 2004 Talamasca and DJ Mael left 3D Vision and started up their own label called Mind Control Records (inactive since 2011).
