For TranceMonday I would like to introduce you to a DJ who has been on the scene for over 25 years. He is known today under ATB. His birth name is André Tanneberger and he was born on 26 February 1973 in Freiberg. He lives in Witten, where I saw him several times on the street when I lived there for a year.

From early on he learned to play the guitar and keyboard. One can see this also in his first single where the guitar puts the melodic line. That single brought him the world fame. The song brought him Platinum in England, Australia, Denmark and Sweden for it.

Zum TranceMonday möchte ich euch ein DJ vorstellen der schon über 25 Jahre unterwegs ist. Er ist heute bekannt unter ATB. Sein Geburtsname lautet André Tanneberger und er wurde am 26 Februar 1973 in Freiberg geboren. Er lebt in Witten, wo ich ihn mehrmals auf die Strasse sehen konnte als ich dort für ein Jahr gewohnt habe.

Von früh an lernte er Gitarre und Keyboard spielen. Man merkt es auch in seiner ersten Single wo die Gitarre die melodische Linie definiert. Diese Single hat im auch das Weltruhm gebracht hat. Das Lied brachte ihm Platinum in England, Australien, Dänemark und Schweden dafür.

ATB was officially founded in 1998. Before he was involved in another project called Sequential One from 1993 to 1998. The first album was called Dance / Rave which had the single Dance on it.

ATB wurde offiziell in 1998 gegründet. Vorher war in einem anderen Projekt involviert namens Sequential One von 1993 bis 1998. Das erste Album nannte sich Dance/Rave woraus die Single Dance drauf war.

The biggest success for Sequential One was Angels which was released shortly before the resolution of the project.

As I said, 9PM (Till I Come) was his biggest hit. His second single, Don't Stop, only confirmed his rank as World Dj. Both songs could be heard on the debut album Movin 'Melodies.

Wie schon gesagt, 9PM (Till I Come) war sein größter Erfolg. Seine zweite Single, Don't Stop zustimmte nur sein Rang als Welt Dj. Beide waren auf den Debut Album Movin' Melodies zu hören.

His music stly has changed after each of the 10 albums. Each album has also brought something new. What you can see in him is that he has remained a down-to-earth perosn and does not show off despite his world fame. He was very active in the United States where he was involved in building up the EDM. I will list some of his songs here. Enjoy listening.

Sein Musik Stil hat sich nach jedem der 10 Alben geändert. Jedes Album hat auch was neues gebracht. Was man an ihm sehen kann, ist das er bodenständig geblieben ist und nicht protzt trotz seines Weltruhms. War sehr viel aktiv in den Vereinigten Staaten wo er bei dem Aufbau der EDM mit dabei war.
