Good morning

Hello Monday!

I was without my Tesla for a few days and boy did i miss it.

It comes a new updated version, which seems to bring major improvement.

I am going to have to test this a bit more, but i think it slows down more in curves. It used to just go the set speed limit, which caused issues in sharp turns.

I am driving on the freeway currently, but will have to test this a bit more and curvy roads.

The Tesla pace of innovation is incredible. Every month I have had this, major improvements have shipped. That is a big difference for every other car that never changes once it has shipped.

Hope you are having a great week

I am so close to convincing my wife to chose Tesla over the others she has driven! Fingers crossed!

Good luck!

Happy week!! I like how technology advances for our improvement!

oh, wow you own a Tesla? How cool! 🤩

Good morning

How are you!

Awesome, you?

I'm a big fan of where Tesla is going with their software and how it will change everything we know as "normal" in terms of driving. Can't afford one, but would buy one if I could.

I find the Tesla actually quite cheap. It is cheaper than a camry or other lower level car, if looking at total cost of ownership. But I get your point.

We have a Hyundai Elentra Limited which is my Wife's car. Has free lifetime oil changes and gets around 38mpg since we have a good amount of highway miles. She loves it and we got an amazing deal on it. Had 3k miles on it an my Grandfather had to give up his drivers license. So we got the car for what Carmax would have paid for it. Can't beat skipping all of that depreciation.

Next car needs to have space for hauling my inventory to shows. I've stuck with SUVs up to this point...but might break down and get a minivan since they have way more cargo room.

My Model 3 was about 35k to purchase after incentive. Then I save a bunch of gas. However with an 38mpg u may not save too much.

35k is not bad at all. Less then I expected you to say. That puts it right in line with a whole lot of new cars.

How long does it take to get a full charge and how far can you drive on that?

I love that this technology is evolving and improving. EVs are here to stay and only will get better (and cheaper). Won't be long until buses and trucks go electric and that will be a massive saving in terms of pollution. Cars are one thing, but honestly the larger vehicles that get only a few miles per gallon will be the game changer.

Watched a little clip about how China is leading the charge in EV and had cut their need for oil by 200k barrels of oil a day. They put more EV buses on the road in 2018 then the rest of the world combined. That is crazy and shows how slow the US is to adapt IMO. Then again we produce oil and they don't...might have something to do with the lack of government support here.
