Modern Monalisa

The iconic portrait of a young afghan girl, refuged from the war, still evoques to this day, a deep and complex mix of feelings and emotions.
This image is the superb portrait, of all portraits, of all time for me. This due to many things; but the primordial is that eerie feeling of indefinite expression (I guess this is why some people have stated that this picture is the modern Mona Lisa)
