Moldova Presents First Crypto Exchange, Discusses DLT at WBCSummit Chisinau

The Eastern European country neighboring Romania and Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, hosted the first main blockchain and cryptocurrency-focused conference – the World Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Summit Chisinau (WBCSummit Chisinau).

During the event, held last Friday on May 11, at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM), the presenters introduced the first local cryptocurrency exchange and also the first token “made in Moldova,” which is in the context of the cryptocurrency exchange. Likewise, they debated on the potential of blockchain for different use cases.
