City hall Hilversum

2 months ago I was invited to moddeling at a meeting for photographers. They could test different lights and make some nice pictures. Many photographers were present so it wasn’t possibel to have the time for every photographer.

At the end of this day I met a verry nice photographer who would like to make some pictures wit me. But the time was over. We looked eachother up on Facebook where he had already sent me a friendship request, because he was even without knowing me personaly very interested in me. After 2 weeks we hade planned a date together to make some nice pictures at the city hall in Hilversum. Hilversum is a small city in the netherlands. Here is where al the tv shows in the neterland are recorded.

What was this man positive, creative and cheerful. We first had a good chat about where we live and what we do in our daily lives. He said that he gets a compensation (this is a compensation in the Netherlands that you get when you are unemployed). He would like to do something in photography, But it is really hard to make money with this. Because there are so many photographers. He pays his 2nd hand camera and everything else that comes with it from his hcompensation.
notwithstanding he continues to look at the positivetie and work hard for it. Some people have such a perseverance?

During the shoot he came up with lots of great ideas, sometimes he lie down on the floor to make the perfect picture. we have kept the clothing and make-up very casual and neutral. Because we wanted to show the beautiful floors and walls of the building.
