Famous Pooram are Trichur pooram, parapilly pooram, arattupuzha pooram and many more festivals are celebrated in kerala.Temple festival's main attraction are elephants. The festival of elephants are known as Gajamela. Peruvanam pooram is the most ancient elephants festival celebrated in Kerala. It is believed to be the oldest festival celebrated around 1500 years old.
