You cannot overemphasize the need for storage in the modern world, I’m not talking about storing fruits, fish or any hardware for that matter, I’m talking digital files, yes, you might argue that well that problems been already solved by several back up options ranging from duplicating copies, putting them in safe location and storing them in centralized platforms online, but I dare to tell you that they aren’t as safe as you think they are, a lot could happen to them which could range from hacks to loss of files when a server or two becomes problematic to natural disasters taking out storage servers.
Let me tell you about a platform that will bring all these concerns and challenges to an end.

This platform is known as Memority, this platform isn’t your regular storage platform, the platform is a decentralized one where users are able to store their data with the assurance that it will stay safe and secure, the data files are not actually stored on the blockchain but at different locations in the world as about 10 copies of the files are made and sent to different locations(Hosters) for safe keeping, these files are cryptographically encrypted and can only be accessed by the owner through a private key, one might argue that what’s the assurance that one will always have access to these files once they are needed, well a system is actually put in place that monitors the hosters and ensure file retrieval and if a hoster is deemed unreliable then the files are moved to another random hoster. Hosters stand to gain as they are rewarded either in cash (tokens) or kind, having free space to store their own data files .
This platform will run on a cryptocurrency which will enable easy payments for sources on the platform, the cryptocurrency of this platform is the EMT token which is the currency with which data space is purchased and with which hosters will be rewarded with, owners of 10,000 tokens or more can become miners where they earn a part of the 5% of revenue generated from transactions on the platform, the future of Data storage is with the Memority platform, won’t you be part of it?.
