As a promotional incentive, the founding players during the beta will be given Rustbits. What is SpacePirate?

Space Pirate is a science fiction themed game that features robots, space travel, and bounty hunters during a period where the human race is at near-extinction. Civilization has collapsed and the humans left are fending for themselves. The game consists of turn-based strategy that is reminiscent of very early computer games. Instead of prioritizing graphics, the player must use their imagination to make the best of their game experience.

The game will be completely open without any obligatory linear progression. There are many adventures and puzzles that will lead to hidden treasure. The player will be able to determine their own morality, choose to form alliances or even play as a lone wolf.

Trading Cards
At the very center of the game's economy will be collectible trading cards. These cards are controlled by the blockchain and their value is pegged to the price of Bitcoin (approx 100,000 Rustbits to 1 BTC).

Not Pay to Win
All of the items in the game will have the possibility to be found or purchased by players. The game's creator will not act as a central authority and sell perks and overpowered items.

Optional Player Vs. Player
Some players will choose not to engage with other players and indulge themselves on the story aspect. Those flagged for PvP combat may choose to ambush other players at the cost of being vulnerable themselves.

Bounties
Players that are not fond of certain players may put out paid bounties against others. Those who wish to become bounty hunters may take these assignments for massive profits.
