Great write up.
I was really disappointed with Conor's standup, his timing seemed way off compared to the Alvarez fight. I guess the threat of Khabib's takedown significantly alters a fighter's ability to fight to their strengths.
I really think Ferguson is the only fighter in the division that has a chance against Khabib. Ferguson is extremely dangerous from the bottom.
100%, Conor seemed to take winning the standup for granted. On the night, Khabib even beat him in that area.
Ferguson-Khabib is the fight everyone has been waiting to see for a long time. Even more so now.
I'd also like to see Khabib fight Kevin Lee. Lee is one of the most improved Lightweights, he also has phenomenal wrestling and arguably better standup. I think Khabib would win but it's a matchup I'd really like to see.
