Absolutely!

Hello great folks of Steemit Land! I hope everyone is having a great holiday!

I'm no stranger to enjoying an adult beverage every now and then and I'm not a bit afraid to try something new.

My taste usually will vary depending on my mood, company and also season. I may be in the mood for some type of beer or cider at times and wine or spirits at others.

On this particular occasion I was in the mood to try an Absolut Martini. I've tried a Gin Martini before but didn't care that much for the pine tree taste.

Being a fan of Absolut Vodka, I felt good about giving this drink a try and I'm glad that I did. The mixologist did an outstanding job at creating this drink. I like a strong drink and to be able to taste the alcohol whereas my wife is the total opposite. Below is the ingredients, enjoy!

3 Parts Absolut Vodka
¼ Part Dry Vermouth
1 Whole Green Olive

How To Mix:

Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a green olive.

Love a great Martini.... I'm having a great cigar and a Red Oak Humming Bird beer right now.
I will post about it soon as I get home as I am out with my brother in law at a cigar lounge.

Ahh man, I've only been to one cigar lounge one time and it was ages ago! I'd love to go to another one sometime. I look forward to your post!

You're right on time cause I just posted it a few minutes ago. Enjoy your day my friend.

I think I would like this. I can't drink gin as I am allergic to juniper trees and especially the berries which they use to make the gin. But Vodka is a different story!

Oh yeah, Vodka is one of my favorite spirits, although I rarely drink it anymore. I guess I felt frisky on this particular night.

According to James Bond, Martinis should be shaken, not stirred...

How someone wants there drink made is purely subjective but there's actual science to back up the fact that you should stir this concoction instead of shaking.

A shaken martini is a weak and very diluted martini (watered down).

Shaking works better when you want to texture a cocktail with conducive ingredients but unfortunately straight liquor and bitters are not in that category.

I wanted to be a mixologist before a cop 😉

Cheers !
