Crypto Glossary

We covered some crypto slang in the past issues of Mithril weekly, today we want to share a few terminology that are more useful if you were to do some research on the crypto projects, hope we could save you a minute or two to find what they mean!

PoW

Proof of Work! The amount of reward you get in a cryptocurrency depends on the amount of work you contribute to mining, and the better you perform, the more reward you get.

PoS

Proof of Stake, this is different from POW. Sort of like a interest distribution system that pays proportionally based on the amount of a currency you hold and how long you have been holding, also the inspiration of Mithril staking!
