A week of broadcast, Miracle in Cell No. 7 Reaches 2 Million More Viewers

Miracle in Cell No.7 has been showing in Indonesian cinemas for a week. More than 2 million viewers have been swept away when they 'visit' Pak Dodo in prison.
The film, starring Vino G Bastian, Graciella Abigail, Tora Sudiro, Indro Warkop, Bryan Domani, Indra Jegel, Rigen, Mawar De Jongh, Denny Sumargo, and Agus Kencrot, has won 2,425,443 viewers. Gratitude is expressed by Vino G Bastian as the main character.

Miracle in Cell No.7 is adapted from the South Korean film of the same title. The story offered in the film produced by Falcon Pictures is considered very representative of discrimination and legal injustice to someone with special needs.

This film tells the story of a father named Dodo Rozak (Vino G Bastian) who has mental retardation. Despite his limitations, he loves his daughters, Kartika, played by Graciella Abigail (little Kartika) and Mawar de Jongh (adult Kartika).

In order to meet the needs of his only child, Dodo sells balloons every day. The son is also not ashamed of his father's condition and always tries to make his father happy. Until one day Dodo was accused of raping and killing a little girl.

In cell number 7, Dodo shares a room with other inmates, played by Indro Warkop, Tora Sudiro, Bryan Domani, Indra Jegel, and Rigen Rakelna.

With the help of another inmate, Dodo was able to smuggle Kartika into the cell. The prisoners were moved to see the love between Dodo and his son. It also makes doubts over the accusations and punishments handed down to Dodo.
