Recession Prep: Large Bills Illegal + Negative Interest Rates? Crazy!
As published by a leading Harvard professor of economics at Harvard University: Central Banks should Prepare now for WHEN the next recession strikes. Not only is he boldly recommending negative interest rates to ease the next recession, But he's also recommending Central Authorities remove large paper-bills from circulation (such as the $100 Benjamins), forcing citizens to keep cash in an electronic format.
So, are the banks really worried that people are going to withdraw all their money from the tellers? Do the economist really think people are going to stuff all their dollars (metaphorically or literally) under their mattress?
