Microsoft Goes Cuckoo with Coco & Competes with Vitalik's Plasma!
While everyone has been distracted by Bitcoin games, new competing protocols are being released into the world! Microsoft is going Cuckoo for Ethereum with their new Open Source (yet centralized Protocol) "Coco", while separately, Vitalik Buterin and Joseph Poon have released a working draft of their project, Plasma.
So, why is a $561 Bln US Company Releasing an Ethereum-based Protocol? Why would they make this Protocol both open source and centralized? And will it make any one feel better if we call these subchains, instead of sidechains? Let's discuss!
