NAME IT - BIZARRE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES AROUND THE WORLD - 06
On our list of Bizarre fruits and vegetables around the world, today we have this absolute beauty of the nature again! Is it a Brocoli? Or that's a cauliflower???

I will let you guys guess it! This particular vegetable has been first documented in Italy since the 16th century. It has a striking appearance because its form is a natural approximation of a fractal (abstract object).

This vegetable has bright green colour and perfect spirals and the taste is as a blend of broccoli and cauliflower with a hint of nutty flavour.

This is how it looks like on it's plant!

Don't be intimidated by it's appearance, it can be cooked as easily as brocoli or cauliflower!

Still no guess? Try harder, you will get it i am sure! For now let's enjoy 'A baked ........, with mozarella and olives!

@progressivechef
Romanesco! We have it in some of the nicer groceries and markets here in Seattle.
They're beautiful!
Bingo! Right again! I just love using them mainly because of it's unique beauty! It transforms any plate you make!
I've only used it once but this gives me the incentive to use it more in my cooking. I enjoy cooking and this fits in perfectly for the vegetable course on the menu I'm developing for a dinner I'll be hosting. So thank you!
