RE: Interviewing @rhondak - PALnet minnowsupport moderator and Channel mod @ MSP Fiction Workshop - PART 2
Wonderful set of Interviews. I know it's a month old, but I wanted to thank you for sharing all of this with the community. Thanks @sandzat for setting up the interview and sharing @rhondak's vision and perspective.
I have went into the fiction-workshop channel a couple of times, but I never really said anything because I just don't want to take time away from other people. My writing, from what I've gathered by others, is pretty strong... I know I have to still hone, but all of the suggestions that I see or hear from others are basically the things I'm already doing (or striving to accomplish). I may take part sometime just to get a clearer picture of where my writing skills are truly at, coming from someone with such acknowledged talent.
It was suggested that I read this post by someone in Discord (I don't recall specifically, so I won't call anyone out), because I was joining an art contest and decided to enter through fiction, using a Raccoon Pirate as the main character. It's not my best work, but I enjoyed it. NOW I know why it was suggested to name the Story "Glory", lol. Holy Superhero Masks, Batman! It's a Raccoon!
Thanks.
Thanks so much, @dbzfan4awhile! I enjoyed setting up the interview a lot. Yes, I do know your writing is very strong. There was a writing contest you'd held a while back, but after seeing the style of your writing prompt, I took so long in writing the contest entry in a suitable way that I ended up not participating even though I wanted to. You really do write wonderfully! Haha... Glory! I'd love to check out your fiction entry. If I miss it when it appears in my feed, please be kind enough to dm me a link at Discord. :)
Dropped you a DM in Discord with the link to the story. Wish I had known the connection before and I would have made it more humorous.
Awesome! I'll check it out in a while. Thank you! :)
