TEARS OF THE MINNOWS, WHALES FOR THE WHALES? MINNOWS FOR THE MINNOWS? ARE THERE ANY PLAN FOR THE NEWBIES
We can not successfully grow a great community if we don't have plans for the new members. In building a great community, the needy should also be put to consideration.one thing in life is, a man is subject to discouragement when there is no one to support. A lot of newbies are being ignored here on steemit.
One common thing I have noticed is that, the same people keep up voting the same people's post everyday. This is not fair enough. I know some might not be pleased, but I must tell you all that so many newbies are not happy about it.
Each person I introduce, I tell them to share good post and be innovative. But so many no matter how creative they are, no one is giving them attention. The whales keep getting up vote from the same people everyday even when they don't have a content that is as good as some minnows's, but the minnows despite their good contents don't have a good up vote.
Its now like our world today where the rich are getting richer while the poor are becoming more poorer. A world where there is no hope for the helpless. We can't continue to say we are promoting steemit without encouraging the minnows. If we say steemit is different from other social media because someone can earn from posts, of what difference will it be if one can use about an hour in creating a post that would be ignored like it doesn't make any sense?
***SHOULD WE THEN ASSUME THAT THE BENEFIT OF STEEMIT IS FOR THE WHALES AND THAT THE MINMOWS ARE JUST THERE TO OCCUPY SPACES ON THE PLATFORM? Of course no, that wasn't the initial plan of @ned and @dan who brought the idea of this platform. Their motive was to help those who are initiative earn from using their potentials. Things are now turning otherwise because some people feel the top is meant for just some few people in the platform.
Only few whales have been helpful and encouraging. People like @candyman, @mustard, @acidyo and @minnowsupport are great whales who have been encouraging the minnows. Lot of minnows, if they could, will buy a well of precious gold for them.

Try not to be too discouraged @souljay. The most important thing on steemit is to be persistent. I will help you out in any way that I can. I'm not a whale but I did invest some in steempower so my vote is good for about 0.17.
