RE: Potential MSP Abuse Report: Sun Jun 10 00:00:00 to Sun Jun 17 00:00:00

in #minnowsupport6 years ago (edited)

Hi there,
actually, I did not enjoy the stats.
Why not?
You say potential abuse which indicates already that the stats might be wrong.
Just making a list where bots made potentially wrong decisions is easy.
If you would take your work serious you would check what you list up.
Bots make mistakes and just copy/pasting results of a bot is a lousy job IMHO.
I supported PAL/MSP from the very beginning as they also supported me a lot. And I will continue to do so because I like the people there.
It's always exciting to be with globo live on MSPwaves.
And now I'm commenting on a post of a bot's work that bases its work on a bot.
Bot-wonderland ... where will this end?!?

Have a nice day and please do better research in the future @dorabot and @danielsaori.

Best regards,
pundito

These stats are made available to support fighting MSP abuse and it highlights users with potential suspicious behaviours.

These stats are nothing else than that.

This data is fed into the manual abuse fighting activity part of MSP. No automated decisions are made based on this, it is just a tool to help filter posts. We have a number of similar filters and they are extremely effective when it comes to fighting abuse.

The last category above is nothing to worry about. This basically sums it up:
If you are tagged, please check that you are not guilty of plagiarism without knowing about it.
