My love story
I write to you all today to tell you about how I met the love of my life, whom you all know as dbzfan4awhile; and how we came to be in our happy little bubble that people keep trying to pop.
It was a bad time of my life. I had just lost my favorite aunt, and my life was turned upside down by rumors saying my negligence is what killed her. Those rumors spread by her husband and my aunt.
That however is a story for another day.
Today I tell a strange story that's roots were growing from the need for inspiration.
One day I stumble across an art chat room looking for some ideas on where to take my art next. I was in a bit of a slump and needed a spark to relight my fire. I found some artist and was excited to know what they do and just some advice in general.
I broke the first rule immediately.
- We don't talk about art in art chat:1
I decided to go ahead and return to the room each day because at least I was getting to socialize with other artists, and building some friendships along the way.
After a few weeks of this I had made a few friends, but was so tired of all the porn bots or inappropriate messages from people. So like a good little queen I made my proclamation that the next person to message me would be dropped into the oblivion of my ignored box.
So to my surprise I get a message saying "sorry I had to do it" from dbzfan4awhile. My sweet little smart ass of a future husband. I should have known then. I found him funny and decided to not banish him to oblivion yet.
Over the next few months our relationship developed into a full blown obsession with each other and spending all of our free time talking to each other in chat or on the phone. I even walked through my moms house one day on the phone and she asked who I was talking to. I cover the phone and whispered "I'm talking to my future husband right now." She never said another word on the subject. Little did I know at that point it would be true.
About six months after talking for the first time I drove up to Wisconsin to meet my sweet man, and when I went home I put in my two weeks notice, and we haven't been apart since.
It has now been 12 years married this last year, and we are still that weird couple that likes to spend all our time together. Now that he works from home it makes that goal much easier. We rarely fight and when we do we make up quickly. All my family made fun of us in the beginning over how close we like to be. Now they are just use to it and don't say anything about it.
This man is truly the other half of my soul, and I believe we were created to find each other. Even through such strange and unusual circumstances. It helps keep it awesome when we both have our weird funny personalities, and are so random at times. You never know what is going to happen next in our house.
I is the dear sweet lunatic that married this awesome woman. I thank my lucky stars that I was just funny enough not to be banished to that ignore bin. I'm always towing the line.

Sweet post, and a great story. Humor doesn't quite get the credit it deserves in a relationship. It's one of the few things I think I have going for me in mine.
I love humor in our relationship, and believe that is our fuel to keep pushing through this crazy world. I'm glad you have it in yours too.
Omgsh melt my little heart of gold and make an infinity ring! Love this story-stranger online to lovers for life- and it seems an impossible situation that was only possible by fate! My favorite part of it all is how much you two love spending time with each other and still do. Friendships, relationship, and marriages like yours are an inspiration to us all!
I don't see anyway we would have met except by fate. I hope everyone finds someone that makes them as happy is JJ makes me. Love ya hun..and thank you for reading my favorite story in my life.
Feel free to share more and more. I love <3 stories the more the better!
