Reviews have a small part with getting ranked in what is called the 3 pack for google maps.
You need to make sure all the addresses are the same on all social platforms and directory sites.
The fasted way to get ranked is by getting the most directory listings and citations.
I also make a 59 second to just over a min video about the client and rank it on youtube for a long phrase keywords like: Best tamales in Pharr Texas (click on the video section to see a sample, mine is number one. Tamales of Guadalajara. )
Also be sure to use the meta tags and description etc for on-page SEO. load lots of photos in google my business et.
