I don't know how steemians chat with each other when away from a post. Use this for whatever you wish and when the comments become too cluttered I will start another Memo - but hopefully by then some features will be programmed on the blockchain by gifted software programmers.

I heard a whale ask us to go there but each time I tried the connection failed - I wrote the whate who sent the advice about joining steemit .chat and he tried and had the same result. He then told me steemit.chat is not part of steemit.com ...
I guess one day I may experience it but I am looking to try @jesta beta called chainBB.com he discussed it in detail here:

Steemit chat was down for a few days but it's back online now. Apparently it's quute a good place but I can't find any decent conversations there!
I'm too exhausted to try it today but I will go there to chat with some whales when I'm in that frame of mind.
