Two generous whales (I think they are whales, anyway) have funded it and @rickyjrx is giving his time to judge a Photography Contest. It starts on Sundays.

Yunk is interesting. I THINK it is a new effort/category to help newbies who are creating quality content. It somehow gives them more exposure. Sorry I can't be more specific but if you have a rummage in the yunk category you will find it.
