SOME BAD HABITS WE DEVELOP ON STEEMIT THAT NEEDS TO BE STOPPED FOR US TO GROW HIGHER HERE ON STEEMT

SOURCE

Recently I just caught myself developing a habit here on Steemit. And I was wondering if this something that other people also do on Steemit or if it is just me? I started doing this whenever I found a good post with advice or tips on how to succeed, but now I find myself doing it all the time.

I just can't stop checking other Steemians Wallets! I just can't stop. Whenever I read a post of an experienced Steemian I just have to check their wallet. How much Steem and Steem Power do they have, what is their estimated account value? I just have to know!

Although this is a not a very bad habit, i think it's not cool, but there are other irritating bad habits steemians have here which definitely needs to be changed if they want to succeed on this platform

VERY BAD HABITS YOU NEED TO QUIT TO GROW HIGHER ON STEEMT

They include

  • SPAMMING COMMENTS

it is totally uncool to just go on somebody's post and spam the person with an unnecessary comment which doesn't contribute to the post the person posted. sometimes when you see such posts its really irritating and we need to stop it.
The bitter truth about beginning for upvotes or followers on someone's comment is that you don't get it. you ended up portraying yourself as a bad egg on steemit and you may end up being flagged, yes, you may end banned, maybe by a whale or anyone that has a higher reputation.

SO STAY AWAY FROM SPAMMING, instead read the post, grab the knowledge the author is trying to pass across then make a contributing comment.

  • VOTING WITHOUT READING

SOURCE

This trait is mostly found in MINNOWS who believe that any post on steemit deserves to be upvoted. The truth is that not every post on steemit deserve to be upvoted for

  • RESTEEMING ANYTHING

I will be short on this one. Resteeming every post you see, adds no personal interest to you.
Resteeming so much kinda covers your post from visitor to see. so resteem only important post.

  • USING WRONG TAGS

using wrong tags directs the wrong audience to a post and it's really bad. When the wrong audience is directed to your post you will really gain no votes from them. The bitter truth we don't know is that, when we use wrong tags, we receive no vote from the audience, because they don't have interest in the post.

Use the right tag and

  • Get the right audience
  • Get upvoted
  • Get rewarded
  • And also inspire others too

  • BONUS TIPS

For your post to be attractive and also readable to the audience you need to have knowledge on MARKDOWN. MARKDOWN is a lightweight and easy-to-use syntax for styling all forms of writing on the GitHub platform. You can click HERE to learn how to edit beautiful post with markdown
