If your comment was published, say, two (2) hours after the post was posted; and if your comment has been voted and generated a profit, it will be available two hours after the end of the life of the post where you commented. The perceived profit for your comment will be calculated by the platform as if it were a post; It depends on the voting power of those who voted, it depends on the value of Steem by the time the timeline for your comment ended.

In conclusion, if your comment was published four (4) days after the presentation of the post by the author, then, if your comment was voted, you will receive the corresponding earnings four days after the time of the post has died. That is why you do not see the earnings of your comment on the same day that the author of the post collects them.
