Is this an independent application made for steemit? Does steemit itself have affiliate links?

minnowbooster is one of the vote selling, sp leasing, sp delegation service on steemit. Steemit itself doesn't have affiliate link. After you sign up with minnowbooster and login with steemconnect, go under " my account" top right then "user info" you will see your referral link there.

No, and I don't think they would do. Actually the best way to invite someone to steemit is to pay for a registering service now. (Or wait in a long queue)
