Yes it will decrease your voting power so I don't recommend doing this with all your SP but if you have plans to take a break from Steemit for a bit and want to keep things moving, it's ideal! If you want to use it again you just submit a negative number into their system and it returns it to you within 7 days. Give it a shot, I think it's a fun idea.
Thanks for the information. I'm going away this summer so I can delegate my Steempower in that period, not gonna use it than. Do I need to first power down my Steem?
No need to power down. Just follow the steps here. Its easy!
