Whale, Shark, Dolphin or Minnow? I'm a Remora
Some of us do not fit in the category minnow anymore and we are not a dolphin yet either.
I have found small whales and dolphins to curate off of so I like to consider myself a remora there are many of us in this class of steemian. The Remora is not a blood sucker we just hang on to the Dolphins, Wales, Turtles and Sharks and detach to go eat feeding off of their curation.
So to make a long story short if you're going to get on a curation trail follow a hard-working Remora cuz we are hanging on tight to get us all get paid! (Steemauto.com makes it easy, search my username or sneakyninja to follow AAA curation trail or sneakyninja's trail joining either and putting settings down to 80% so you actually vote gets you a share in @steembasicincome getting upvotes for life!)

How exactly does a trail work?
Whatever i vote on the trail followers vote on also. If i vote at 50% you have the trail at 50% you vote 25% if you put to 100% you vote the same % as me
Is there an advantage with curation rewards?
If you do some research and leg work yes, for example you could follow my curation trail look at how we vote and go search for similar targets if you want to do it on your own. What I searched for is up-and-coming Wales that promote their content but not optimally so there is a large window if we are to click at the right minute to get some of that curation, so now our curation Trail follows a few that put out good content and we can get paid and we target new promoters in the game that do not mind sharing their curation as we also raised their articles with our upvote. If you're not putting any steam-power towards it you want to vote at zero minutes and if you're putting a lot of steam power you want to vote 15 minutes after me I vote 15 minutes after the post lowering my curation rewards so that the low steam power followers can get some curation but anyone with good steam power can vote 15 minutes after me and mop up a lot more curation. It has taken 2 months to understand curation this much and I'm still learning...
