@unkabird, thanks for your visit here and as to your advice, please know that mining pools are not completely new to me and I strongly believe in their idea and future success. You know, TEAM stands for Together Everyone Achieves More.
And as to that extra power usage, well, I just replied to another comment about that saying that there is not such thing as something for nothing :-)
I have been running it for 1 whole month, and my power bill is the same.
