Some random pics of the mining rig cooling boxes I built last spring.
This was the 1st box I built. I works great at keeping the rigs cool but I made the door too damned small! It's a pain to get in and out of that box if i need to work on any of the rigs in there. These pics below are from when I first put this together. Alot of changes and tweaks have been made since then. The dimensions are 4' x 5' x 4'. The filters for this box are 20" x 20" x 1". The fan on top is made my Utilitech as was purchased from Lowes for about $120.00 US. Here's a link - https://www.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-Pro-24-in-2-Speed-High-Velocity-Fan/4755305

The 2nd box, I built specifically to hold the two 7 card rigs I have. This box is absolutely fantastic for keeping these rigs cool. The only problem with it is that its a little too small. If I have to work on these rigs for any reason, there's no room to do so. I have to take the rigs out in order to work on them.. granted, this doesn't happen often but it has happened. The dimensions are 3' x 3' x 3' - just a 3 foot square box. The filters are 24" x 12" x 1" - The fan is a 20" Utilitech that i bought from Lowes as well- $45.00 US - here is the link - https://www.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-20-in-3-Speed-High-Velocity-Fan/4755301

The last box (above ) is the best one. This is great at cooling the rigs, it has plenty of room to get inside and work if i need to and the whole side is a door. The dimensions for this one are 4' x 4' x 4' - just a 4 foot square box. The filters and exhaust fan are the exact same as the 1st box.
Cool! :-)
You might be able to productize and sell them. People already sell rig frames for hundreds of bucks.
Why not pay another 100 or two to keep the rig nice and cool, particularly if you live in a warm location.
What did they say about the gold rush and who made the fortunes?
