The statement that "With genesis mining you get 2 year contracts, with galaxy mine the contracts are for 3 years" isn't strictly true.
Genesis Mining have 'open-ended' Bitcoin mining contracts, but granted its altcoins are limited to two years.
The ROI for BTC mining from Genesis is above 70% once costs have been deducted, but I gather the returns on Galaxy are about 44% once costs and payments to the affiliate network have been taken care of.
