Screaming Out Of Mediocrity
Here I will attempt to document my experience with cryptocurreny. Like most people the first crypto I encountered was bitcoin, this would have been around late 2014. Initially like most I was skeptical, but I do tend towards a generally open mind. So I did my research and managed to glimpse a little about cryptography as well. So I decided to buy a little lite-coin, which is pro grammatically similar to bitcoin. Going through the process of actually purchasing a crypto, I learned how the entry barrier for less tech savvy might make it all rather prohibitive. It was around this time that I committed myself and the website that I was running at the time. I installed a lite-coin faucet onto the website and for a while that was interesting. I saw a small flow of payouts and a couple actual donations as well. I eventually tired of this however and wanted to learn more about mining, so I went searching and found a pool software that offered simple mining of lite-coin and a few other cryptos.
Fast forward a year or so and I had successfully run mining software in a number of forms and on a number of computers. Then I came across a crypto that was offering something slightly different instead of the hashing simply securing the network it actually offered a service onto the backend of it...To me this seemed dead on. Don't waste electricity use it for something people want to do anyways. And here I am today getting my first full fledged miner online for this new crypto I have found. I will be posting guides on this once I have completed the project.
Disclaimer: This is not meant as just a bitch fest. It does however at some times seem like it. I will not apologise for this.
