It's me again with questions.
Is that spec good enough for some altcoin mining? And is it worth paying about 250$ for it?
Specifications:
CPU - AMD A8 6600K APU 3.7GHz with 4.2GHz Turbo
RAM - 8GB RAM @ 1600MHz
GPU - R9 270X 2GB
MB - Gigabyte GA-F2A58M-HD2
The 270x used to be a beast for gpu mining. I don't think you'd get a return on investment for mining after power cost though! For gaming you should do okay a medium to lower settings!
I don't want to get return back. Just want some gaming pc and when I won't play I can mine so I will get at least couple $ back
Should be a decent purchase at that price then :)
I've really lost track of the latest/best hardware configurations for mining altcoins between their respective algorithms. One that I still remember and which doesn't require much cpu/gpu resource is BURST coin, mining with hard disk drive storage space.
