How to dual mine Ethereum Classic (ETC) and Decred (DCR) on pool

Hello.

In this video I will show you how to mine
Ethereum Classic (ETC) an Ethash based coin
and
Decred (DCR) an Blake (14r) based coin on pool.

First you need to find pool where to mine

In description of the video I will point some pools.
Some are good, some are not too good
but you will need to test them and choose what pool is best for you.

I will show where I am mining. (Not 100% best pool, just my personal choice)

Lets start!!!

In this video for Ethereum Classic (ETC) i will use pool

https://etc.ethermine.org/

And for Decred (DCR) i will use pool

https://dcr.suprnova.cc/

For Ethereum Classic mining on etc.ethermine.org you will need
a address and you can use address from any exchange
poloniex.com, bittrex.com etc...
For Decred mining on dcr.suprnova.cc you need to setup account.

In the moment we have a couple of miners out there
you can always search what miner is best for your rigs and your hardware.
Here is some places you can find useful stuff:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0

In this video i will use mining rig with 3xASUS RX 480 4GB and

Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v7.4

And MSI Afterburner to setup my GPU’s

Settings for my card’s are:

GPU Clock (MHz) 1075

Memory Clock (MHz) 1950

Power Limit (%) +25

Core Voltage (mV) -84

(OVERCLOCKING YOUR CARD TO THE MAXXXXX will not get you best results,
and beter hashrate)

With this settings i am getting around 28 MH/s for Ethereum Classic (ETC)
and around 400 MH/s for Decred (DCR)

For your hardware you will need to find witch setup is best for you

After you download Claymore’s Miner extract and setup a new batch file
or just edit existing start.bat file

My batch file is like this:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:4444 -epool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:14444
-ewal 0xb0d8e83071da9eba06b2bf0805d42aac286f7373.kire1 -epsw x -etht 100 -ethi 16 -mode 0
-dbg -1 -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:2252 -dwal lordpalce.1 -dpsw x -dcri 29
-allpools 1 -allcoins 1

At the end of the Ethereum Classic address you can add your worker with format

youraddress.yourworker

just to be able to monitor all you workers.

And here it is

you are dual mining ETC and DCR...

Wait couple of minutes to see your speed and progress on the pool!!!

Copy address and paste to see your workers and results!!!

That is it!!!!!

Thanks for this! Good info! 7 Months later :P

Interesting post. I was about to post a similair thread. The biggest group of uneducated investors in mankind has to define the trustworthyness and price of a crypto. It's an interesting world we live in. I was wondering if anyone of you uses: https://www.coincheckup.com. They researched and analyzed every tradable coin out there.
