[Mining Review] MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6GB Hashrate
I recently expanded my Rig with a great looking Nvidia 1060 of 6GB. At first, its mining capabilities were nothing to be impressed about, 19mh/s on Eth and 270 H/s for Zcash, however with the right tuning this card can do wonders.
I use MSI Afterburner to overclock my cards, here is the current settings I have for my 1060:
- Power Limit: 50%
- Temp Limit: 60 oC
- Core Clock: 0
- Memory Clock: 825
Hashrate
Ethash: 24.7 Mh/s
Equihash: 325 H/s
Power Consumption: 90W
Overall, if you can get this card for anything below 300 USD, it is without a doubt a great buy. I also like to build nice looking machines, as I spent a lot of time looking at it, and this card is definitely and eye turner!

hi !I advise you rather the range AMD FIREPRO developer for the graphic workstation for example a firepro 5100 will offer you 30 mh / s for 75 w for around 400 usd
Advise taken, altho I would have to change my whole rig to AMDs
I was looking forward to your update from the last time you had started building it . I'm going to look into that card
about ~1$ per dayfor eth and ~1.10$ for zcash then

I cant wait to buy a laptop with decent card under 500 dollars... I need to make 400 dollars at least and off mining ... any experience on what to go for?
Hi @chitty I was wondering if you'd be interested in getting some advertising on Steemit for your witness.
We get hundreds of viewers every week on @spotlight and they could easily be flowing over to the witness page for you.
We're asking for SteemPower for our contest prize pool -- in return you'll get credit for providing the funds our contestants hope to recieve, and they'll know exactly how they can repay you for this value you've provided.
Let me know if that sounds helpful for you. - GK
